I think Tim Duncan will be on a mission next year. if he is healthy, he'll win it. Kobe should, but there are too many haters out there to make it possible.

The thing to consider with this question is the fact that will the most deserving player get the award? My belief is that Kobe Bryant will once again deserve the award for leading a team into the playoffs that would be in the lottery without him. People complain about Kobe's scoring but the fact is that he gets wins. People didn't complain when about Tmac's scoring when he was the season scoring leader and his Orlando Magic had the worst record in the league, yet when Kobe leads the league in scoring then he must be a selfish player. Although I believe Kobe deserves the award, most likely the award will go to Lebron James becasue the league is wrongfully hyped about him. Although he has immense talent he is not the best player in the league as of now and its ridiculous that he finishes ahead of Kobe in MVP votes when he has to compete in the East which is still weaker than the West. If the Lakers were in the East they would have had a better record than the Cavs last year.

I think it will be a toss up between Dwayne Wade and Lebron James. Wade led his team to the title this year and won the MVP honors. James was one win away from going to the eastern conference finals. I really think it will be Wade he is a team player. I don't see Kobe winning unless he throws up a couple 80 plus point games, and Nash better not win again the past two years he has won and they never made it to the championship.

Well, according to what has happened in the past few years, you have to give Dwyane Wade credit. He has led the Miami Heat to the NBA Finals and he has won it already. Next year, he will be going for another one. I believe that in what he has done last year and in the upcoming year what he will do will be un remarkable. I believe he will be the winner of the MVP award in the next NBA season.

As terrific a player as he is, I just can't see Steve Nash winning the MVP award 3 years in a row. Dirk is a possibility, and Kobe is always in the mix. But I think it will come down to either Lebron or Wade. I know either would gladly give the MVP award to the other in exchange for a championship.
Kobe deserves to win at least one in his career and I think 06-07 season might be his year!!!!
