Little fact for all of you also. If you read any sports articles such as espn they all list kobe as the pick for MVP. I doubt anything will change in the last 3 weeks of the season, and those are the guys who get to vote on it.

CP3 deserves it, but Kobe will get it because the league feels they owe it to him. In only three seasons Paul has become the best PG in the league, has lead the Hornets to the best record in the West, and has clearly made others around him better. Without Gasol, the lakers are just a .500 team, just look at their record with and without Gasol in the lineup... just a recently without gasol, they lose games to the warriors, bobcats, %26amp; grizzlies, and last night barely got by the wizards in ot., in fareness to Kobe, he probably should've won it a few years back when they still had Shaq in the lineup, I've seen better numbers from Kobe in the past and the league still gave it to someone else. If the MVP is mainly based on numbers, give it to Lebron, If it's based on winning, give it to KG, if it's based on all time achievement, give it to Kobe... I think the league needs to give a go over the definition to the award... hope the league gets it right this year.

While both Chris Paul and Kevin Garnett should be more deserving, and LeBron has put together another great season, this observer has no doubt in his mind that the prize will go to Kobe Bryant, because he's finally making his team-mates play better, he is the force behind a great Lakers regular season, and don't overlook the "he is overdue" factor.

Some other players that should be looked upon are Tracy McGrady for being the soul behinf Houston's magic streak, and maybe Stephen Jackson %26amp; Deron Williams. Chris Bosh will wait another year or two, and Manu Ginobili was very strong but is dominated by Kobe in all categories.

KOBE BRYANT! his team is 49-24. hes made players like jordon farmer, sasha better players. hes also injuried he has a torn finger and hes still playing at elite level.
